Our belief is that teachers are often hampered and constrained by the buildings in which they work. We aim to deliver secondary school accommodation that enhances the teacher’s ability to provide high quality education. This includes carrying out post occupancy evaluations on schools to see how they perform when occupied by pupils and teachers.
We have also developed an Education Impact Model system to measure whether our schools deliver real increases in performance, attendance and increased community participation
We are determined that schools should be forerunners for a low carbon built environment, and they already include features that reduce energy waste and make the most of natural resources.
