Construction

Willmott Dixon Construction carries out our major contracting work on non-residential projects ranging from £1 million to over £100 million.  This includes sectors such as education, leisure and culture, hotels, offices, health, retail, national frameworks for Government and local authorities, plus law and order facilities from prisons to Police stations.

Our Scape framework, where we are sole national provider, enables us to offer public sector customers the chance to save money, time and duplication through by-passing the OJEU process and contracting directly with us. Typically, it reduces the time taken to get a project to site by six months.

Construction’s network of local company offices (LCOs) across England and Wales, each with its own MD, provides national coverage with a locally based team. This close-knit team are on first name terms with everyone in their LCO, and it also gives clients the close attention and relationship with their LCO team right up to MD.

The balance between being a national company and having local presence also helps our ‘local pound’ approach of working with local companies where possible, with up to 40 per cent of a project’s spending distributed within 20 miles. Clients also know their project is important to the LCO team, instead of being one of many in a national structure.

To ensure the local approach is not lost as the business expands, new LCOs will open so clients can continue to receive close attention from their local teams.
